Central theme: Children’s rights are no child’s play.
Children’s rights are manifold and diverse.
Ranging from the right to play, over the right to live a healthy life, the right to protection in war, to the right to express their opinion…
We all agree children’s rights are important, and we advocate a greater commitment to realise them.
But what about the daily pedagogical practice and application of children’s rights in the professional field?
During our international week we want to focus on how we act as a pedagogical professional in a context or organisation where we welcome, guide and/or support children.
How do we concretely integrate children’s rights into and keep heeding them in our daily professional practice?
How do we react in confrontation with these rights not being respected or them being violated? What are good practices to inspire us?
Let’s inspire each other!
We will organise workshops for students and workshops for staff & professionals on 7, 8 and 9 June 2022.
