Overview of the working session between Nam Hoa University and Hanoi Pedagogical University 2
On February 7, 2023, the delegation of Nanhua University (Taiwan) visited and worked at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, and the two universities signed a memorandum of understanding.
On the side of the delegation of Nam Hoa University, there were: Prof. Tsong Ming Lin - Rector; Prof, Wann Yih Wu - Rector of the College of Management, Nanhua University; Dr. Chun Chun Lin - Head of International and Cross-Strait Affairs Division; Dr. Ying Kai Liao - Director of the Bachelor of International Business Program; Ms. Sih Ying Chen - Project Coordinator of the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs.
On the side of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, there were: Assoc. Prof, Dr. Phung Gia The - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Bui Kien Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector, Chairman of the University's Trade Union; Dr. Trinh Dinh Vinh - Vice Rector; Leaders of the following units: Science - Technology & International Relations, Academic, English, and Chinese department.

Speaking at the meeting, Prof. Tsong Ming Lin - Rector thanked Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 for the respectful welcome to the delegation of Nam Hoa University. At the same time, introduce the basic features, outstanding features, and mission of Nam Hoa University and look forward to exchanging and cooperating with Hanoi Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 in the near future.
After the introduction, representatives of the two universities discussed the issues of mutual interest and desire to cooperate, develop and integrate together. Issues of concern are training linkages, human resource development, capacity building of lecturers and students, scientific research, and organization of seminars. At the meeting, representatives of the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Nanhua University (NHU) was upgraded to university status in 1996, formerly known as Nanhua Management College by Buddhist monk Hsing Yun. NHU is a member of the Fo Guang Shan International University Association, Taiwan's first transnational university system. Nanhua University was established in Chiayi, Tainan (Taiwan) with an area of 63 hectares. NHU's educational philosophy is based on the principles of positivity, honesty, and humility. These principles are the qualities that train students to make leading contributions to society. NHU has about 5,500 students: 78% undergraduates and 22% graduate students.
